Pashiz (Bronze, 16.5 mm, 0.46 g, 11 h), Arab-Sasanian type, struck probably during the reign of the caliph Abd al-Malik, Istakhr. Draped bust facing to right, wearing double pearl diadem; to left and right, AFZUT GDH ('may his kingship increase' in Pahlawi). Rev. Draped bust facing, wearing double pearl diadem; to left and right, legend in Pahlawi. Album -. Gyselen, type 69. Extremely rare, apparently the second known example. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
